At PMI we continue to advance in our mission to offer efficient, secure, and tailored international payment solutions to the needs of the global marketplace. Today we are pleased to announce the addition of two new leaders who will play a key role in strengthening our operation in Brazil: Hosea Netowho assumes as Country Manager of PMI Brazil, y Vivian Chaveswho joins as a key reference in Structured Operations and Institutional Relationships.
A new chapter in the leadership of PMI Brazil
For Hosea Netothe local leadership represents a strategic step that reinforces its current position as a leading company in Global Head of Sales of PMI:
"Taking on the role of Country Manager for Brazil, alongside my current position as Global Head of Sales, represents an exciting and strategic challenge. Brazil is central to PMI's global ambitions, this dual role offers valuable opportunities to deepen my knowledge of a dynamic and rapidly evolving market."
Its focus in this new phase will be centered on two pillars: improve the quality of service y expanding our institutional customer base through strategic alliances.
"Improving service quality consolidates the trust of existing clients and lays the groundwork for new business opportunities. Meanwhile, securing strategic partnerships and attracting new institutional clients will significantly expand PMI's reach."
He also expresses with enthusiasm one of his main objectives:
"I am particularly excited about the challenge of positioning Brazil as one of PMI's top three markets, along with Mexico and the United States. Despite complex regulatory hurdles, the Brazilian market offers enormous potential-especially in international trade flows involving China, an area in which we have substantial expertise."
Vivian Chaves: strategic vision with a human focus
With more than 20 years of experience in financial institutions and large companies, Vivian Chaves joins PMI with the conviction of contributing with an integral and strategic approach:
"The strength that the PMI Group has built, even in a highly competitive environment in Latin America, positions it as a benchmark in the development of human capital - an increasingly strategic asset for business sustainability."
His background includes experience in Structured Transactions, Means of Payment and Financial Risk Managementwhich allows it to act as a strategic business partnerfrom structuring to executing global-scale transactions.
"My approach is based on identifying and developing opportunities through a conciliatory mindset, aimed at balancing different needs with sustainable solutions and high value-added partnerships."
What excites her most about this stage at PMI is contributing from an industry in transformation:
"We are facing a moment of acceleration marked by the tokenization of financial flows and the dissolution of border barriers. This dynamic environment enables the development of personalized and user-centric financial experiences. It is in this context of constant evolution that I find a strong motivation to contribute impactful, scalable and global solutions."
