What is Xela?
Xela is a web and mobile application (iOS and Android) designed to provide you with the best experience in international money transfers from Chile to Latin America, in a proposal that concentrates the most advanced financial technology together with an extensive network of receiving and paying partners.
How does Xela work?
You must create your account by entering your personal information. Once created, you will go through an identity validation process. This process will take no more than 2 minutes.
Once verified, you can login and start with the quotation of the money to send, then you must enter your contact information.
Finally, select the bank of your convenience, select the option to pay and login with your bank account, select your account to use and complete the steps that the bank will ask you to do.
On which platforms does Xela work?
You can send money with Xela from Android and iOS mobile devices, and you can also make transfers from fixed equipmentusing this link.
Due to security requirements and regulations from government authorities, the initial registration must be done from your smartphone.
To which countries can I send money with Xela?
Today we can send money to more than 10 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela.
Other countries will be added to this list at a later date.
From which countries can I send money with Xela?

How long does it take for my contact to receive the money from my transaction?
Argentina:
In real time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Bolivia:
Before 18:00 hours (GMT), the same day (working days).
Colombia:
Up to 24 hours (working days).
Ecuador:
Up to 24 hours on business days. Before 11:00 a.m., same day (GMT-5).
Haiti:
Soge Bank: Up to 60 minutes (daily). UNIBANK S.A, Banque National de Crédit, Banque de l'Union Haïtienne, Capital Bank SA and Digicel. Up to 3 business days.
Mexico:
In real time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Paraguay:
Before 18:00 hours (GMT), the same day (working days).
Peru:
Interbank: 30 minutes. Other banks: Before 17:00 hours (GMT-3), the same day (working days).
Dominican Republic:
Before 19:00 hours (GMT), the same day (working days) up to 24 hours.

My transaction ended up being declined, why can this happen?
There are many factors involved in this action, which are listed below:
- Error in the data entered for your contact (First Name, Last Name, ID Number, Account Number, etc).
- Due to internal restrictions of your contact's bank, it is important to review the data you entered to avoid this from happening.
- Limit of daily or monthly shipments.
- Limits for receiving money in certain bank accounts. You must take into account that each Bank has its own policies for receiving money by transfers, whether domestic or international.
It should be clarified that when your transaction is rejected, your money is refunded in full, which you can use again to send again from Xela.
Is there a shipping limit?
Yes, there is a daily and monthly limit of shipments, which are as follows:
Daily limit: 5,000,000 CLP.
Monthly limit: 30,000,000 CLP.
I don't see my Bank in the list of available Banks, what can I do?
We currently have a wide catalog of Chilean Banks. If you do not see the bank of your convenience, you will not be able to send money.
How does my contact receive the money?
Your contact will receive the money through an international payment infrastructure, which is connected to various financial institutions around the world.
